What qualifies me to be writing a feature piece on you and your blog?
I hold a BA in English with an emphasis on writing. My senior capstone subject was creative nonfiction.
Why spend time promoting other people?
I thoroughly enjoy getting to know new people and reading new blogs. I think it's a fun challenge to write a short feature on someone. I took a whole course on this subject and it was one of my favorites.
Why work with you and not with the bigger blog search sites?
I want Guest Posts to be a personal, fun, and casual experience. The sites I've seen are overwhelming and generic.
Have you ever guest posted?
Yes, I have! I met a great blogger in another country and it was a fully positive experience. I'll share my experience in the near future.
Have you ever hosted a guest on your blog?
No, only because my blog is a diary of sorts for my friends and family back home. I started it when I got married and moved away as a way of keeping them updated on my personal life. If I can think of a good angle, I'd love to have someone over sometime.
